About
Mars On Fire is Andrew Marsden. I am a Software Engineer with over 5 years of experience, but it all started with game development when I was 16. I never thought I could learn to code, but it I finally decided to follow a tutorial to create PONG in the Unity game engine, and I was immediately hooked forever! I've since created an endless number of projects that never saw the light of day, but they've always been some sort of learning experience. In recent years, I wanted to take my game development a little more seriously. I had one goal: get a game on Steam. So I did, and while it was nothing special, I am so happy I finally took that leap. I continue to make games that make me proud, each better than the last.
Pizza On Fire is my friend and I making some games together. We've created Extreme Delivery and are currently working on Beyond The Doors.

- Led the architecture and development of a full stack microservice Blazor web application for internal teams to save up to 1 day per change request
- Built and managed 200+ CI/CD pipelines with TeamCity, Octopus Deploy, and Azure
- Developed backend and frontend features using REST APIs and Stored Procedures across 300+ APIs and applications
